| The Pool Heated and sanitised hydrotherapy pool with swim-jets. It exercises every muscle of the body and gives the dog a complete workout without the risk if injury associated with weight-bearing exercise. The pool has swim jets which allow your dog to swim against a controlled current for a set amount of time, helping them to get the most out of their session. Some dogs will benefit from being lifted into and out of the pool using the power hoist. |
| The Water Treadmill In addition or as an alternative to the pool, we can also incorporate the water treadmill or walker into the treatment programme which allows the dogs movement to be observed from all angles whilst it progresses through a controlled exercise programme. Also good for dogs who need hydrotherapy but don't like swimming much, or getting out of their depth. This is a particularly good therapy for cruciate repairs & hip dysplasia. |
| All dogs are towel dried and if needed they can be blow dried or use the drying cabinet. |
