Maggie Cunniffe B.A M.Sc.
As a qualified swimming teacher with a love of dogs canine hydrotherapy was a natural progression. Maggie
qualified in canine hydrotherapy in 2007 after a professional career in teaching and health. She is qualified
in animal first aid and water management and has a special interest in dogs with orthopaedic problems. She
also has qualification in human first aid, canine anatomy and physiology, spinal conditions of the dog and
regularly attends specialist training sessions. Following the success of Top Dog in Andover we are
branching out into Newbury.
Zara Toms (Hydrotherapist)
Zara is a qualified canine hydrotherapist who began her work with animals at Sparsholt College where she
gained a BTEC National Diploma in Animal Management. Zara did her work experience at Top Dog and
recognised that this was the career pathway she wanted to pursue and has since become a full time
member of the team.
Michelle Silvester (Hydrotherapist)
Michelle has recently joined our team after gaining a Diploma in Animal Care (SAC DIP). She has also
undertaken further training in canine hydrotherapy with Hawksmoor Animal Rehabilitation Centre and
continues to study special areas of canine rehabilitation. She also works as a dog walker and day carer for
all small pets and is a member of N.A.R.P.
Emma Kinchenton
Emma has recently joined the team. She has a personal interest in canine care and is keen to learn the
trade. She has considerable professional business skills so is keen to help with promotion etc.
